Personal data is any information that can directly or indirectly identify a person. This website processes only the data necessary for secure operation, presentation of content and communication.
No automated decision-making or profiling takes place.
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted through Netlify. When the website is accessed, the hosting provider may process technically necessary server log data. This may include the IP address, date and time of access, requested file, referrer URL, browser type, operating system and status of the page request.
The processing is carried out to provide the website securely, reliably and efficiently on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in the technical functionality and security of the website.
Netlify acts as a hosting and infrastructure provider for this website. The log data may be made available to Netlify group companies and contracted service providers where this is necessary to operate and secure the service. We do not use these logs for our own profiling, advertising or marketing.
Netlify may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where required, transfers are protected by recognised safeguards such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. 4. Contact by email
If you contact us by email, the information you provide, including your contact details, is processed in order to handle your enquiry and, where applicable, to initiate or carry out a project.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where the communication serves to initiate or perform a contract. In other cases, processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in responding appropriately to enquiries.
The data is deleted once the purpose of the processing no longer applies and no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.
Messages sent to hello@iohichu.com are forwarded to and processed in a Gmail account provided by Google. For the delivery, filtering and storage of email, Google may process the sender and recipient addresses, message content, attachments, timestamps and technical metadata.
For users in the European Economic Area, Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, is generally responsible for the Google service. Data may also be processed on servers outside the EEA. Google states that it uses recognised transfer mechanisms, including the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable. 5. YouTube videos
YouTube videos shown on the website are initially displayed only as locally stored preview images. No connection to YouTube is established at this stage. A connection to YouTube is established only after you actively click “Play video”. The video is then embedded via the youtube-nocookie.com domain.
Activation may transmit your IP address, device and browser information, as well as information about the page accessed, to Google or YouTube. Depending on your settings and whether you are signed in to Google, the data may be associated with your user account. The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you provide by actively enabling the video.

6. Pexels statistics and external Pexels links
The website may retrieve the publicly visible number of profile views and published images server-side from the public Pexels profile page. Visitors' browsers call only an endpoint on this website for this purpose. The displayed value is cached and may therefore be delayed or rounded.
Simply loading this website does not establish a direct connection between your browser and Pexels. Only when you click a Pexels link do you leave this website; the privacy provisions of the destination provider then apply.
7. Locally hosted portfolio images
The images displayed in the portfolio galleries are provided as local files through this website's hosting. Loading these images therefore does not establish an additional connection to an external image host.
8. External links and social networks
Links to Instagram, YouTube, Pexels and collaboration partners' websites are ordinary external links. A connection to the respective provider is established only when you click the link. The respective provider is responsible for processing on the linked pages.
9. Cookies, analytics and tracking
In its current version, this website does not use its own analytics, marketing or tracking services and does not store non-essential cookies. When external videos are actively played, the relevant third-party providers may use their own technologies.
10. Your rights
Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you have, in particular, the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future.
